🔧 Claude Desktop Integration Guide
Step 1: Open Claude Desktop Settings
Launch Claude Desktop application and click on the Settings icon (gear icon) in the bottom-left corner.
Step 2: Navigate to Connectors
In the Settings menu, find and click on Connectors in the left sidebar. This will show you all available MCP integrations.
Step 3: Add Custom Connector
Scroll down to the bottom of the Connectors page and click "Add custom connector" to create a new MCP server connection.
Step 4: Configure Remote MCP Server
In the custom connector form, enter the following details:
Click "Advanced settings" if you need to configure OAuth credentials (optional for this server).
Step 5: Save
Click "Save" to add the connector.
Step 6: Connect and Authenticate
After saving, press the "Connect" button. You will get the login page of the OAuth system where you put your credentials and wait for authentication to succeed. Once the authentication is OK, you can minimize the login page and start chatting with Umbrella MCP.
Step 7: Verify Connection
After authentication, you can write "mcp list" in the chat and you can see that Umbrella is part of this list.

Connection Issues
If you can't connect to the MCP server:
- Verify the server URL is correct
- Check your internet connection
- Ensure the server is running (status shows online above)
